Thanks so much for caring about the best interest of the residents and there families. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it but I was thanks to Ginger! I can’t wait to see how my mom grows with everything Silver Commit Village offers. Don’t skip this one! My mom was previously at a similar community a few years back that my mom thrived at! But we are so happy to have found an even better solution for her. The relief I felt after only just a few exchanges with the people involved at this community is great. It’s hard to choose life choices for aging parents. I called my mom today because I was missing her but she was busy with her new friends and would call me later ☺️. Hattie immediately befriended me and my mom and was already looking out for her before she arrived! The residents made sure I didn’t have to wait long to speak with someone and even came to check on us as we moved in. Gus was very attentive to all the residents and was very committed to his job. He also helped us through out the day while we moved her in. Gerald gave my mom an excellent tour and showed my mom how everything operated.
I had felt like other communities were interested in securing my mom’s paycheck instead of helping my mom have a happy independent life. She was personable and took extra time to make sure we were satisfied. She helped us more than anyone else offered to at the other communities I went to. Ginger was a dream come true for my family. You want quality for the price there is not a better place! I did a very thorough search and jumped on joining Silver Commit Village immediately.
My mom was very nervous to go at first but she immediately liked it and was eager to get to know everyone. I love the activities and the schedule for my mom to keep busy with her new friends. The staff get to know you and look out for you immediately. The community is in a perfect location with beautiful apartment views. So when I called and received the information I rushed up there to secure my mom’s new apartment. The pictures online were very beautiful ❤️. Silver Commit Village is a hidden gem 💎.

And the second one was bingo, and both of them was full house participant to me from what I’ve seen. They had a performance of someone to entertain, and he was singing. That impressed me yesterday, the participation in the activities that they had going. Even in the senior community where I am, participants normally don’t do more than four or five at each activity, but they had a full house yesterday for that. But, with me being involved in senior communities for the last 10 years, that was the most active participant activity that I’ve ever seen. I’ve been looking for a place now for over a year, and I have never attended a tour where I saw activity going on.
I came about an hour after lunch, so I didn’t get the chance to be there during the meal. I looked at the menu, I saw the dining area, but I didn’t get the chance to meet the chef. I was there for two hours, and she was so patient. It wasn’t a quick interview or a quick tour. I met two staff, and one of them spent so much time with me. It was my first visit, and I was so impressed with that community. I felt like I was moving in, and that’s just how they approached me once I entered the doors. It’s very nice, and I just fell in love with the staff. They have four floors and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Parking is accommodating for the building. I did not tour the assisted living, but the independent area is nice. The facility is big, nice, and clean, and it’s accommodating. It seemed like they were more of a family. The staff was overly informative and nice. I think Silver Comet Village is about three years new.
